CenterCross – Privacy Policy

Puzzle crossword

Effective date: October 16, 2026 · Applies to the CenterCross app on Android (com.sultonuzdev.centercross) and iOS.

CenterCross: Puzzle Crossword ("CenterCross", "the app") is an offline number-crossword puzzle game made by sultonuzdev, an independent developer ("I", "me"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you play. The short version: I don't collect your data. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google handles the data needed for those ads.

In short

  • No account and no sign-in. I never ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • Your progress (stars, streak, settings) stays on your phone and is never sent to me.
  • No analytics and no crash reporting. I don't run any server that receives player data.
  • Ads come from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID and similar data to show and measure ads.
  • You can change your ad choices at any time: see Your choices and consent.

Information I don't collect

The app has no sign-up, no profiles and no chat. I do not collect, store or receive:

The app asks for only two permissions: internet access, used only for ads (the puzzles work offline), and vibration, for game feedback.

Data stored on your device

To remember your game, the app saves the following only in its local storage on your phone:

This data is never uploaded to me or to any server. You can delete it at any time by tapping Stats → Reset progress in the app, or by uninstalling the app.

Feedback emails

"Send feedback" in the app opens your own email app to write to me. If you send an email, I receive only what you write and your email address. I use it only to reply to you, keep it only as long as needed for that, and never share it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

CenterCross is free and is supported by ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. The app shows:

To show, limit and measure these ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information from your device, such as:

Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. I don't receive this personal data from Google; I only see aggregated, non-identifying ad statistics. Learn more:

I do not sell your personal data. Under some US state laws, showing personalised ads through an ad network can count as "sharing" personal information. You can opt out of personalised ads as described below.

Your choices and consent

Players in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

When you first open the app, Google's consent form (the User Messaging Platform) asks whether Google may use your data for personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in the app: Settings → Privacy & ad choices. If you don't consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use less data.

Turn off personalised ads on your device

Children's privacy

CenterCross is made for teens and adults and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent me personal information (for example, in a feedback email), contact me and I will delete it.

Your rights

EU and UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (see Your choices and consent). You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA) and other US states

You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, including for personalised advertising, using the device settings above. I won't treat you differently for using these rights.

How to use them

I don't hold any player data on a server, so there is nothing about you for me to look up, beyond a feedback email you may have sent. Data used for ads is held by Google; you can manage it through the settings above or at My Ad Center. For anything else, email me and I'll reply within 30 days.

Security and retention

Your game progress never leaves your device. Ad requests are sent by Google's software over encrypted connections, and Google keeps ad data according to its own retention policies. Feedback emails are kept only as long as needed to answer you.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy, for example when the app changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, I'll also mention it in the app's release notes.
